How to Remember Peoples' Names

Dale Carnegie said that a person's name is the sweetest sound to one's ear.

Had a coaching call with an Account Manager of Dell from Bangalore. He learnt so much that he told me that he already got his money's worth JUST in the first coaching call. There is so much left for him. WOW! A customer's review that tells in the end of just one call that he got his whole course investment's worth is pretty cool. One of the things we spoke about is how to remember another person's name.

If you ever have a hard time remembering someone's name, here is 1 of the 7 techniques I taught this client:

++When you meet someone new, use that person's name 3-4 times in first 15 seconds.++

When you do that, the name gets deep into YOUR subconscious mind and that help you remember that person's name.

Example:

"- Hey nice to meet you, Bishal.
- Hey pleasure. What's your first name?
- Rakesh.
- Rakesh? WOW. I have a friend named Rakesh. So, what do you do Rakesh?
- I work for HDFC as a Sales Manager.
- That's wonderful. And Rakesh, are you from Bangalore?
......
....
..
."

You get the picture?

++When you meet someone new, use that person's name 3-4 times in first 15 seconds.++

When you do that, the name gets deep into YOUR subconscious mind and that help you remember that person's name.

I hope this tip helps you remember peoples' names when you are speaking to them- that will give you huge credibility and people will respect you more.
