A Fault I Pointed Out about ME on My Fiancé‘s Birthday

How often do you find out YOUR OWN FAULTS in your life?

Today I was celebrating my fiancé’s birthday up in the hills, and we were having real good laughs (like every day) and had great breakfast, and spoke about many things we are thankful for.

My Fiancé on her last year's birthday(2013). Happy with roses :-)

My fiancé is really cool and asked me if we could climb down the hills a bit, and go the river in the bottom of it, and then come back up by climbing down the (not-so-reliable) stairs.

“Baby let’s do it, it’s been a long time since I climbed down a hill.”

“Alright, I am up for it” was my answer.

The journey to the bottom of the hill was okay. Had no problem. After all I am a tough man.

Or maybe I thought I was.

While climbing up the mountain, I realized a major fault of my own.

When climbing up, I was tired.

I was gasping.

I was sweating like a dog’s tongue.

I was….in pain.

I needed water!

“Water! Water! Give me some water. I want water.”

My fiancé quickly gave me the water bottle and I drank water like I was thirsty for last 5 years.

I got my breaths back, and then I looked up and realized that the top of the mountain was still at a distance.

In the meanwhile I looked at her and asked: “You alright?”

She said: “Yeah! I am fine! 100%.”

She WAS fine. She was not gasping. And she was not tired.

But why? Why was I tired? How is my girlfriend so fit when I am not?

HECK!

Here are a few things I realized:

1. For last 4 months, I was not training my body enough

2. For last 4 months, I was not exercising regularly

3. For last 4 months, I was not consuming the “right food”

4. For last 4 months, I am now NOT when I should be physically in terms of fitness

Are YOU training your body enough?

Today when I came back home (after the whole day celebration), I made up my mind to CHANGE.

So, here is the deal:

No more soda (made this promise last week, and it’s going well without soda)

No more fast food

No more excuse for NOT EXERCISING

I am already feeling EXCELLENT, because I made up my mind to change. And knowing who I am, I can tell you that I will keep the momentum up.

What about YOU?

Are YOU training enough?

Are YOU practicing your presentations enough?

Are YOU working hard enough for the business you always had in mind and heart?

Are YOU training enough for improving your mindset and skillset?

Are YOU?

I know for sure, that if you don’t follow any process, you will never see any progress.
