As Public Speaking Expert, I am fortunate to meet+speak to+coach a lot of professionals around the country, and sometimes overseas. I meet people who have great hunger for learning and I also meet people who know they know more than all other people. The funny thing about being a professional public speaker is that you meet people, and if you don’t have a good experience with them, they become a part of your next speech or next blog post : - )

Here we go!

Last week I was on a phone call with a gentleman (who persisted for weeks to get me on phone) who wanted to get some tips from me about How to Become a Motivational Speaker in India. I told him the broader roadmap of How to Become a Motivational Speaker in India and this man freaked out.

I don’t want to work so much. I don’t have time to build a blog, I don’t have time to focus on a niche, and for God’s sake I can’t make a keynote speech for next 1 month. Can you tell me some other ways? Easier ways?” he said.

I was surprised (a little, for about 4-5 seconds). And then I replied: “If you are not willing to do the work, you will never expect to gain the benefits, my friend.”

I hung up the phone.

See.

The man was telling me that he couldn’t do so much work.

But what the man was really meaning was that: “I don’t believe I can make it happen. I don’t believe I can create so much content. I don’t believe in myself.”

It was self-belief that was the problem, not the space of work.

Most people don’t believe in themselves. They don’t believe in their abilities. They don’t believe that they can work enough to produce results.

Remember: “No Belief, No Relief.” – Your friend Bishal Sarkar

When was the last time you didn’t believe in yourself?

When was the last time you thought it was too much work for producing the results you wanted in your life?

When was the last time you settled for something less, because you thought it was too tough for you to keep going?

Remember: “No Belief, No Relief.” – Your friend Bishal Sarkar

Believe in yourself and you will get the relief that most people can only dream about.

Do you believe in yourself 100%?
